CCG Reporting Requirements for Investment in Primary Medical Care – 2019/20 onwards
CCGs are required to publish on their websites and to report to their Local Medical Committee (LMC) how they have used their primary medical care allocations. The objective is that this will lead to positive discussions between LMCs and CCGs locally about investment in GP services, and to support CCGs in demonstrating to practices that funding previously invested locally, which has been superseded by new national contract provisions (including through the Network Contract DES), has been reinvested into primary medical care.

Investment of retained funds
At the start of each year, the CCG agrees the budget for emergency admissions to hospital. We are required to retain 30% of these funds, within the CCG, in order to fund schemes to help reduce emergency readmissions in future. This spreadsheet shows how we intend to invest our retained funds during 2015/16.
