Zuffar is a successful local businessman and local health campaigner who has fought tirelessly on behalf
of patients in the city for more than 15 years. He took up the post of lay member on 1st August 2016.
A champion for local people and their rights, he has previously led successful independent campaigns to
reduce parking charges at Leicester’s hospitals, eliminate the use of 0844 telephone numbers and
establish walk-in centres in both Leicester and Oadby.
For the CCG, he is particularly be involved in issues relating to patient and public involvement.
