If you have an illness or injury that won’t go away that isn’t life threatening, You should always call your GP first, even if you think your surgery is closed.
A fourth healthcare hub is now open for patients in Leicester City who need to see a GP, but cannot get an appointment soon enough with their usual GP practice.
Your local high street pharmacy can provide confidential, expert advice and treatment for a range of common illnesses and complaints such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear or toothaches and emergency contraception. You can also get advice on prescription medicines.
Urgent care and treatment centres are located in Leicestershire (outside of the city) and Rutland, offering a range of treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
